Castles and feudality
Land of a long-lasting feudal domination, the Marquisate of Saluzzo welcomes anybody coming from the plain with the mass of the castles which still survive at the mouth of the valleys: once they made up a continuous defence line against the enemies - the Savoy- and Saluzzo and the destroyed Rocca of Revello were its fortresses; nowadays they are the destinations of pleasant excursions.
